Hey.

[ yeah, she's up to something - but if it was something that could lead to trouble, she thinks she'd already be in it by now. that's progress, right?]

[And Wanda's not even assuming something bad has happened yet!]

[sheriffing]

I was thinking about the dragons we liberated from that shop with Daenerys.

I think it might be time for me to check in.

[seeingscarlet]

I hope they're all right. It hasn't been an easy several months.

I know they should be taken care of but...I worry.

[sheriffing]

I do, too. A lot's changed since we brought them there.

[ Dany was working there when they brought them in.]

Feel like coming along, or would you rather I report back?

[seeingscarlet]

I'm not missing a chance to see them. Where should I meet you?

[sheriffing]

Want me to stop by your place? I'm bringing Bella.

[ she's not a yellow volkswagen beetle, but horses are cool, too.]

Who is Bella?

[sheriffing]

She's the horse I've been trying to convince to like me.

[seeingscarlet]

[...okay, she's not even going to try to hide her childish glee.]

I'd love to meet her!

[sheriffing]

We'll pick you up. She's pretty friendly, she likes new people.

[seeingscarlet]

I'll see you soon

[And Wanda will be waiting with a little treat for Bella.]

[sheriffing]

Hey, we're outside.

[ she'd knock, but that would mean parking her horse. using her device is just a little easier with Bella around, even as the horse proudly and patiently waits for their traveling companion.]

[seeingscarlet]

[Wanda rushes outside, her face lighting up like a child's.]

She's beautiful!

[Tentatively, Wanda offers the apple she brought.]

[sheriffing]

You're going to be her new favorite person with that apple.

[ Bellatrix might be the happiest horse in all of Olympia right now. she remembers her training just long enough to wait until its offered to her, and then munches happily, giving her owner time to dismount. ]

Are you ready to do this? It feels a little...strange, but necessary.

[seeingscarlet]

[Wanda just laughs and gently pets Bella's neck. She's perfect, and if not for Zora would be Wanda's new favorite animal.]

I'm not the one who brings the food every day.

[She returns to seriousness quickly - everything's been so crazy that it really is necessary. Wanda just hopes that they didn't take the dragons into more danger.]

We need to make sure they're all right.

[sheriffing]

No, but this is new food. Unexpected food.

[ for a horse, that's a pretty big deal, as evidenced by the way Bella nickers at Wanda for the treat.]

I know. When we moved them there, we thought they'd have more guidance.

[ she'd worried about them when the world was frozen in time, but stabilizing things in Olympia had to take priority because of the people living there.]

But dragons are pretty resilient, so I'm cautiously hoping for the best.

[seeingscarlet]

[She wants this to be a fun ride to see adorable little dragons, but Wanda knows this could very easily end up having a very different ending. The world is not kind or fair. And there's no point in pretending otherwise.]

[A beat. Hope for the best, hope for the best.] And it would have been sad to only see video.

[sheriffing]

I'm glad you're coming with me.

[ she hadn't wanted to go on her own, especially with the possibility that this wouldn't end well. it seemed like the kind of thing they were supposed to finish together, no matter what the outcome.]

Every time I think about whether or not they're okay, I wonder how big they've gotten.

[seeingscarlet]

[She got dragged into this; she might as well finish it.]

Do you think they would get much bigger? They wouldn't be cafe-sized anymore.
