[It's all so very much to deal with that he completely misses that terrible lurch of emptiness right after, and has no idea he didn't quite make it far enough to satisfy her. And--goodness--this is all secondhand. He's not even making any attempt to involve his own pleasure in the process yet. Better to make sure he can handle the spillover from Wanda first, he'd thought, and even that's overwhelming him at the moment.

But after that's calmed a bit and they kiss again, he smiles lazily and speaks in a light tone.]


I am beginning to understand. But it's, er, quite different in practice than in theory.

[How do humans deal with having that much emotion? It's not like that all the time, he's sure. It can't be. And yet it's rather addictive, isn't it? Maybe he can learn to deal with it with repeated practice. Wanda might not mind so much.]
