[She knows just the right thing to say to stifle his objections; he does want to stay, and though he's no expert in such things the bed seems to be more than large enough for the both of them. Whatever else went into his creation, he has definitely ended up as a social creature. The relief in his tone is palpable.]

I do wish to stay.

[He's not moving out of the hug just yet, though. It just feels so good, and her easy acceptance is doing a great deal to relax him. He exhales and continues, a little mournfully.]
