It's fortunate that she needs to explain how to make this potion or else she'd be very distracted indeed. Honestly she just wants to get it over with so they can move on to more interesting pursuits which is...not great for potion-making. It's a more involved process than medicine, and there are several points Wanda has to trace wispy symbols over the cauldron and push them into the potion.
