That feeling only grows stronger, and even though she's been prone to the occasional hallucination here, her powers have never lied to her. It's not wishful thinking or a drug-induced phantom. Vision is definitely here...and the realization fills her not with relief but with cold dread.

The creation of self-aware artificial intelligence is completely prohibited.

But he'd signed the Accords! Had they decided to throw him in here anyway? She was surprised that Stark wouldn't have tried harder to save his robo-son, but then again, she wouldn't have thought even he could coldly look on as his so-called teammates were subdued and strapped into those mobile prison cells for transport.

She'd thought she'd been angry before at the thought of Clint and Sam and that strange Scott person in cages (and Clint's poor family!) but picturing Vision locked up like the rest of them wakes an even deeper protective fury. Vision was so gentle he could coax butterflies to land on his hand. Why couldn't they see that? There was so much more to him than the portion derived from Ultron's code.

But then again, they couldn't see past her powers and no one was even trying to debate whether she counted as human (yet).

He's a bright golden warmth against her mind, impossible to ignore now that she's aware of him (not that she would want to). Poor Vision...she can only imagine what this place is going to do to him. It's hard to summon enough control of her abilities to even acknowledge that psychic touch but Wanda manages. She doesn't want Vision to feel any more alone than he must already.

She reaches back clumsily for his mind, and he's allowed an easy window to her emotions: her despair at their situation, her fear and sorrow for him. She's not capable of complex psychic communication right now, but she has enough focus to manage a little: "Vision. I'm so sorry."
