[The autopilot on the shuttles is perfect for doing a little cuddling on the way to their destination, and the only reason he keeps the kiss soft is to avoid messing up that lovely lipstick. His fingers linger on hers as well when they sit, and he hasn't stopped smiling since she opened the gift.]

Whatever the dinner special is, I suppose. It feels like a "special" kind of evening, does it not?

[It's apparently a version of chicken parmesan with dinosaur meat instead of chicken and a little extra spice added in.]

[Dinosaur parmesan. She probably shouldn't be so surprised given where they were last...fortunately Wanda had mostly managed to avoid any encounters with the native wildlife.]

When we were little, our parents would sometimes get us chicken nuggets shaped like dinosaurs. I wonder what Pietro would say if he knew I was going to eat real dinosaur.

[Tonight, she seems able to talk about him without pain. Vision's got her in a very good mood.]

[It doesn't really get more exotic than that, does it? The flavor isn't quite chicken - it's closer to a dark, gamy turkey - but it matches well with the strong cheese. The flavors are strong enough that he actually notices them through the consuming strength of his feelings for Wanda at the moment.]

It does sound fantastical, doesn't it? Eating dinosaur on a spaceship, drifting between the stars with an android companion. [He smiles fondly.] I did say I wanted to share all manner of experiences with you. This certainly counts.

[Wanda ducks her head and blushes.]

[She reaches across the table and traces her fingers feather-light over Vision's cheek. Everything about him is just so beautiful...]

I wish I could see the world the way you do, even just for a day.

[He closes his eyes to he can focus on the light touch of her fingers, smiling.]

But you do see it that way, Wanda. Every time you reach for my mind, I share it with you.

[Wanda grins and traces a heart over his cheek.]

I mean that I wish it came easier to me. I could watch your mind for hours, Vizh.

[Yes, even during 'boring' engineering stuff that's way over her head. The way Vision's mind works is just so unique.]

You feel like warm sunshine.

[What a sweet thing to say. He raises a hand so he can cover hers with his own against his cheek, warm and comforting, then opens his eyes so he can see to kiss her wrist before letting go.]

If I shine brightly it is because I know you are here to see it. You bring me joy, Wanda.

[Reluctantly, her fingers fall from his cheek. She's blushing again - Vision is so earnest at heart and tender with her. What did she possibly do to deserve a love like his?]

I am...happy here, because of you. I hate that it could be taken away at any moment...but I love the home we've made.

[All she ever needed to do was have a heart that was open to him, and be strong enough to accept what he offered.

He knows it can't last. A thing is not beautiful because it lasts. But that has never, ever meant it was not worth having.]

You will always have a home with me, wherever I am.

[She tries not to think about that. Wanda's lost everyone else she loved and even with the bracelet, she's not sure how well she'd fare here without him. But she can't pull away, not unless it's for his own good.]

And I will give you a home wherever we go, whatever happens to us.

[They're in public and the table is between them. She can't kiss him. But she can reach back up to trace glowing red fingers over his lips.]
