❧ First Impressions

✦ VISUAL: Long wavy brown hair, green eyes, 5'6". Her eyes turn red after she uses a certain amount of power, when she's angry, or at will.

✦ FASHION: General and game-specific aesthetic here. Wanda arrived in her New Avengers outfit and will be wearing that for missions.

✦ DEMEANOUR: Wanda's fairly unassuming at first. She's much more understated than her brother, but she can also be a fairly intimidating lurking Presence if she wants to be.

✦ AURAL: Sokovian accent. Listen here.

✦ OLFACTORY: Wanda favors warm scents or dark florals.

✦ MENTAL INFORMATION: Wanda's telepathic and will know if your character touches her mind. As such, she's highly resistant to most forms of mental manipulation.
✦ MAGICAL INFORMATION: She's a regular human, but there's something off about her. If MCU Pietro or an Infinity Stone are in the setting, your character might notice a similar thread in their auras.

✦ BACKTAGGING: Yes please.
✦ FOURTHWALLING: No thank you, unless you're Deadpool or it's general Marvel multiverse stuff. Please do not mention House of M to Wanda unless we've talked about it beforehand.

✦ CANON POINT: Post Captain America: Road to War/pre-Captain America: Civil War. It's fine to discuss Thanos with her, but please do not tell her about the events in Wakanda without talking with me first.
✦ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Wanda enjoys casual touches and hugs from her friends, although she'll tense up if she hasn't known your character for long. She probably won't react well to random kissing.
✦ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: No gore or serious maiming, or at least don't go into too much detail of the textures - I associate it with food and then get extremely food repulsed. No killing without plotting it out first. Wanda's pretty powerful, so your character probably won't make it out physically and mentally unscathed.
✦ RELATIONSHIPS: I am down for shipping if the CR is going that way.
✦ FACE TWINS: No thank you if we share a PB. A certain resemblance is okay if it's another universe's Wanda.

❧ Permissions

✦ MIND READING: Generally, Wanda can get anything from surface thoughts to memories to your deepest fears and dreams. Or at least, she can if you're not a machine or telepathically inclined enough to block her out. She's also able to get a general sense of what kind of person your character is.

Please note that this doesn't have to be a constant read if you would rather that it wasn't. Also please feel free to qualify this if you would rather she only do so under particular circumstances. Additionally, viewing extremely violent (planet-killing level) thoughts and memories can also cause her physical pain, so let me know if you think this might apply.

Finally, Wanda can sense emotions and may have a harder time blocking them out if your character is projecting. If they have become close, she may also be aware if they are seriously injured or killed if you would like. Just let me know!
✦ MENTAL MANIPULATION: I will always approach you if something comes up where she might want to try messing with your character's head since Wanda doesn't use this lightly, but if you know for a fact that you're not up for that, please let me know! She's trying to learn to use this ability to help people (nightmares, distractions from extreme pain, etc) so unless you're fighting her it's more likely to be used in a support function.

Character Name: Kitty Pryde
Series: Marvel: X-Men: Age of Apocalypse/Earth-295

Can Wanda read your character's mind?: Sure! I do headcanon that Jean taught her some basic techniques for making it harder to have your mind read, but they're the kind of things someone without mental powers is having to actively do, so if she was attempting this around Wanda I'd write it into brackets and if Wanda wanted to see past it she could skip on past because she's way too powerful for Kitty to block if she wants in. And most of the time Kitty is just an open book anyway.
If so, what will she see?: I'm pretty expressive in brackets. You can always feel free to give me a nudge if you'd like more info in any given thread or want to make sure something is up for grabs. Generally speaking, Kitty is a good person who tries her best. She has a dark, tragic backstory. Her parents were murdered when she was just 13 because Apocalypse's foot soldiers went looking for the fresh alpha mutant (Kitty). She still blames herself. She also blames herself for her students' deaths. They were on a mission and Piotr convinced her to get Illyana somewhere safe since she was the objective. He said he'd go back for the others and he didn't. And then shortly after that he was trying to stop the X-Men from fixing the timeline (because Illyana wasn't alive in the other time ~~she is now, but back then no.~~) and he charged forward and Kitty got in his way to stop him and she trusted him to stop so she didn't phase. He didn't stop. So she doesn't actually remember dying since Marina only ever took people from right before death at most but she knows it happened. Then weirdness of Marina. Some bad relationships and a great one who she lost. She might still feel her nursing that loss. It was pretty important to her. He ~~dropped the game~~ disappeared over a year ago. She's moving on now. She hopes to be happy, in love, have a family someday which seems impossible. She always likes learning and spends a lot of time training. She cares deeply about her crew (she's the captain of the Twin Roses). She tends to read team/crew as family. She'll also see Wanda as family even if she plays it cool since mutant family! Even though she isn't a mutant.

Can Wanda pick up on your character's more intense emotions?: Yeah, Kitty can get pretty intense and dramatic at times. Honestly, if she's intensely feeling an emotion Wanda probably won't need telepathy to pick up on it. But there might be occasions where she might be keeping it calm on the surface. Usually in a battle situation or something. But it'll be fine to pick them up!

Are you open to potential vision plotting if it comes up?: Sure. It'll depend on what it is and the timing!

Anything else the mun or the muse should know about?: Gosh, I used every word! What's left? Um, Kitty would be upset if she was mentally manipulated but I'm not necessarily opposed. If so, what will she see?: Nami is generally cheerful but she's starting to suffer from some increasing loneliness. It's been a while since she went home.

Anything else the mun or the muse should know about?: Just as a note, we used to have a Wanda and she and Nami were good friends! Nami still has a magical necklace Wanda made for her. Can Wanda read your character's mind?: She can, but she might find it gives her a mild headache/disorientation? Katie's mind is a slippery thing.
If so, what will she see?: A wide range of stuff! Katie is avidly curious but she also lives in the moment so she doesn't dwell. In general, she's positive and lowkey amused at everything.

If so, what will she see?: Makie is the queen of negative sadness. She's got a streak of self-loathing a mile long and actually prefers being on Fleet, currently trying to learn how to just live for herself. But yeah, she's just sort of walking misery, mostly.

Can Wanda read your character's mind?: Yes.
If so, what will she see?: Sincere compassion and kindness, an emptiness and uncertainty about his own identity, a deep and terrible darkness in his heart related to a very unpleasant childhood.

Can Wanda pick up on your character's more intense emotions?: She can certainly pick up on his lack of them: he is very controlled and even somewhat repressed.

Are you open to potential vision plotting if it comes up?: Certainly!

Character Name: [Princess] Looma Red Wind
Series: Ben-10 Omniverse

Can Wanda read your character's mind?: Yes, she'd have no innate or learned defenses against it, or even any way to notice it's happening. But she will react very negatively if she ever finds out, especially since she makes it a policy not to try and hide anything to begin with. She's the sort of person who would admit to plotting a murder, to the intended victim, if they bothered to ask.

If so, what will she see?: Surface thoughts might change, and if you want a nudge I can always put something in brackets, but there's going to be two constants just about anytime she checks. The first is that Looma habitually holds on to her anger, so even if she's fairly calm and enjoying herself, there would still be an undercurrent of anger and hostility she's clutching on to. Not directed at anyone or anything in particular, just there. Because even though it's made a mess of things for her in the past, she's still convinced her fury gives her strength in battle, and where she comes from, battle prowess and a willingness to fight are extremely important. Naturally, any mention of the Atroma would cause it to flare up considerably- she's not a fan of being anyone's captive, and she's especially angry that she can't fix the situation by destroying their captors and everything they hold dear in retaliation.

The second constant would be an accompanying sense of sadness and loneliness. She's made friends that she's not certain she'll ever see again, she's had someone knowingly propose to her who she's not certain she'll ever see again, and at this point it's been several years since she last saw home. In particular, she misses her father terribly. He means the world to her, and it's been more than five years since she'd had any sort of contact with him. It has not been great.

Can Wanda pick up on your character's more intense emotions?: She could, but Looma having intense emotions tends to be readily apparent to anyone on the same block as she is. She's not subtle about it, especially if it's anger.

Are you open to potential vision plotting if it comes up?: Sure, I guess?

Anything else the mun or the muse should know about?: Looma has a habit of habitually sizing up and analyzing every new person she sees, and periodically doing so again on repeated interactions. Both as a potential combatant and, if they are of suitable age, a potential betrothed (not that the two are all that different from one another, given how a marriage proposal works with her kind). This is not limited to any particular sex or even species- she's been engaged to humans in the past, and in her galaxy it's fairly commonplace for there to be relationships between aliens of different species (and the occasional human, that's just a bit rarer because humanity doesn't get out much). It's not uncommon for her to wonder how a fight between her and whoever she's speaking to might play out, possibly with more detail than anyone else would consider healthy. Despite the violence inherent to those thoughts however, there's no real malice to be detected unless she really hates the person.
