An alien?

[Something like the Asgardians, maybe? That's the closest parallel she has.]

They're like another sense? They don't hurt but sometimes the feedback can.

I didn't really have what I had for very long to really figure out what they were like. There and gone again. Probably for the best. I'd just end up sitting lazily on a couch and letting powers like that do everything for me. I'd forget how to walk eventually.

[She grins and picks up her fork, waiting for him to dig in. She tried to be sneaky with the tofu and there's not much in there...but there are definitely at least two small pieces of tofu mixed in on his plate.]

It is nice on a cold day. I don't need to get out of bed or my blankets for little things. [A beat.] I'm glad it didn't hurt you.

[ he should be expecting some kind of trick but after the whole powers display and his own thoughts, he's distracted enough that he forgets and picks up his fork to take a few bites. it's...spicy. it's definitely spicy. he doesn't do anything stupid like fan his mouth but he has to chew slower. ]

But, I'll content myself with being really good looking and a great shot instead of having anything cold.

It's not good. Spicy like you said but not bad. You're a good cook.
