Wanda can sense him. She can always sense him when he's near, but she knows better than to rush into his arms no matter how much she wants to. So instead she'd changed quickly, throwing an open sheer red robe over a strappy crop top and shorts. Enough to tantalize, but not enough to demand his affections if he's not in the mood tonight. She is always careful not to push too hard unless he asks her to. His choices haven't always been his own, and she wants him to know that he is always safe with her.
There are two freshly-brewed cups of tea waiting on the table and Wanda's lounging on the couch, waiting for him. She sits up when he appears and smiles warmly, extending a hand. "Bucky."
He appreciates the little things Wanda does that he knows, on some level, must be for him; the way she dresses, the way she doesn't rush him when he arrives, the way she gives him room and choice. It's appreciated, and some of that appreciation shows now, in his slow smile at taking in the look of her, and realizing there's tea for both of them.
"Wanda." He takes her hand and bows low enough to plant a kiss on the back of her hand. It's a bit more...extra than he would have been in his past life in the 1940s, but he feels he can afford to be extra now, after decades of barely having an identity.
Plus? Wanda is definitely worth all the extra he can summon up.
"You look nice." He's dressed in dark denim jeans and a soft, dark blue button-up shirt with red accents. The top button is undone, and the sleeves are short and slightly ripped at the seams on the left to allow for the metal arm.
Wanda grins and blushes, and if she was anyone else that laugh might be called a giggle. She loves when he pays special attention to her hands - it touches her like little else.
"So do you," she says with a soft smile, though Wanda always thinks he looks quite dashing, even on his more, ahem, rugged days. And tonight he seems appropriately dressed for snuggling so she allows herself to have a little hope. "Can I get you anything? I made cookies yesterday."
He loves her hands, so they're easily paid extra attention to. So much grace and power in her fingers, how can he not be in a little bit of awe that she decides to touch him with them?
"What kind of cookies?" He has opinions but he'll eat at least one no matter what flavor it might be. He can always eat, and there's something to be said for things that have been made by Wanda.
"Vanilla chai," she says with a smile. "I wanted something with a little heat, but I can make something else if you're hungry." She doesn't mind. For her, cooking is a labor of love, and honestly she's just glad that she has the means to properly feed herself now.
"And of course I have tea if you want some." An almost comical amount of it, just like any witch worth her salt.
